Andrew Buckley

Andrew BuckleyAndrew Buckley started training back in 2004, and started competing in 2005. Since Andrew began teaching in 2006 his passion for sharing the art of Jiu-Jitsu has grown. His love for competing and sport Jiu-Jitsu was fostered by Zach at Cavalo Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Columbia, Missouri. Zach’s instruction brought Andrew’s jiu-jitsu to the next level in competition. Following Zach’s example Andrew began intense preparation to focus on competition training. In 2013, he competed in the IBJJF Masters World Jiu-Jitsu Championship and finished in the top eight. He is excited for the opportunity to grow Jiu-Jitsu in the Georgina area be a part of this great community.

James An

James AnJames An is a avid jiu-jitsu practitioner who began his journey in 2008. Like many who start jiu-jitsu James first saw its effectiveness in the UFC. James began being a assistant to the kids classes after 2 years of training and has been constantly teaching, training and traveling to expand his knowledge and skill. James also enjoys competing and has competed all over the local scene as well as traveling to the Gracie Worlds in California.

Kyle Muratoff

Kyle MuratoffKyle Muratoff has a diverse background in fitness and martial arts. He graduated from Humber college from the Fitness and Health program having gained a knowledgeable background in exercise anatomy, physiology and exercise prescription. Along with that program Kyle holds his canfit pro personal training certification. His well educated understanding of how to run fitness classes properly with a focus on correct technique makes him one of the best instructors to teach our MMA classes. Kyle not only has a good background in fitness, he is experienced in jiu jitsu and boxing. He started jiu jitsu at the age of 17 under Gracie Humitia and participates regularly in competitions. Kyle started boxing under Chad Kiets and furthered his skills at Sully’s boxing gym in Toronto. Training at several gyms has given Kyle a fresh perspective on boxing and he cannot wait to teach at Cavalo.

Ezra Lenon

Ezra LenonEzra brings his Jiu-Jitsu at American Top Team and is a black belt under Francisco “Kiko” France, who received his black belt from Ricardo Liborio. Ezra, who received his black belt in under 5 years, has gone on to win dozens of tournaments and grappling matches. His most notable win so far was against BJJ legend and top-ranked grappler Pablo Popovitch at the Pan-Am’s in New York.
